Tier1 Auditing
At present, an email is sent twice a day to the dns-operations list on OpenNIC. This email is a summary off all Tier1 servers, and details what OpenNIC TLDs are working and what is broken.
The purpose of this script is to inform admins when their server is having issues. All T1 admins should be subscribed to this mailing list.
Enhancements
In the future, this script should be expanded to email the list once a week with the status, and only email admins if their server is missing a TLD or is mis-configured. This will cut the noise-level on the mailing list from two emails a day, to one a week.
Hopefully, using this, more people will be responsive to the emails.
