Deletions:
I created an OpenNIC chat on the PSYC multicast network: (where temporarily starting issues exist, for the first time in the time I use PSYC)
""
<p>If you're using Tor Network you can reach the chatroom via the psyced.org onion service:</p>
<ul>
<li><a href="irc://loupsycedyglgamf.onion:67/opennic">Chatroom on loupsycedyglgamf.onion</a> irc://loupsycedyglgamf.onion:67/opennic<br>
(requires Tor-enabled IRC program)
<li><a href="http://loupsycedyglgamf.onion/PSYC/?room=opennic">Encrypted Webchat</a>
<li><a href="xmpp://*opennic@loupsycedyglgamf.onion">Same chatroom, if you prefer an XMPP client</a> xmpp://*opennic@loupsycedyglgamf.onion<br>
(requires you to create an account on loupsycedyglgamf.onion port 52)
</ul>
Otherwise, here are more traditional means:
<ul>
<li><a href="ircs://psyced.org:6697/opennic">Chatroom on psyced.org</a> ircs://psyced.org:6697/opennic<br>
(requires TLS/SSL-enabled IRC program)
<li><a href="https://psyced.org:34443/PSYC/?room=opennic">Encrypted Webchat</a>
<li><a href="xmpp://*opennic@psyced.org">Same chatroom, Tempora-friendly</a> xmpp://*opennic@psyced.org<br>
(requires XMPP account and program)
</ul>
""
For more info on how to use this, see http://help.pages.de -> manual and what this is, see http://about.psyc.eu
(I must admit, xmpp,irc,ircs links are handled really badly by wikka)

Revision [3642]

Deletions:
======collection of notes======
(things that will be moved into subpages)
- is there need for a german and/or other localization group (=> Translation WorkingGroup)
- old action items:
- meetup:
- I think it's a good idea, but I guess we are all too much all over the world?
- dnssec:
- What has been the result of this, the thread seemed to have ended. Is it still ongoing or has this been dropped?
- git:
- What was the purpose of having a git server? (if external, there will be a publication on vcs hosters soon, I vote against [[https://wubthecaptain.eu/articles/why-i-dont-support-github.html github]]). Move all website, wiki, and eventually admin provided scripts for setting up tier2 servers into repositories? Sounds like an idea where one could eventually get rid of wordpress to replace it with another CMs or at least with an theme more appealing for the mobile generation.
- PublicRelations:
- as soon as i have time I will start working on a set of tools for addressing projects like autonomous and leftist spaces/projects/... (short presentation, email form, ideas in general, also sponsoring, etc)
- related to the above, I will address the [[https://fda-ifa.org/ FdA IFA]] and local groups about a talk on digital safety and/or in general on OpenNIC and other projects.
- those presentations will be made available later on when my own git server is in an 24/7 online state. Access only through tor.
- General:
- voting system -> what about liquid democracy voting tools like:
- [[https://adhocracy.de adhocracy]] ([[https://github.com/liqd/adhocracy sauce]])
- [[http://liquidfeedback.org liquidfeedback]] ([[http://www.public-software-group.org/mercurial sauce]])
- I haven't tested them yet myself (selfhosting try is on my todo list), but it could be a great addition to the workflow.
- hidden-service access for *.opennicproject.org
- As drupal is currently working on this (and there are others too), what about a CMS which will be integrated into a git for easier updates or whatever?
- wiki currently lacks activity and content, but this was already answered on the mailinglist.
- if [[https://gnu.org gnu.org]] in general layout (for frontpage and documentation) is an inspiration, what about adding [[https://www.gnu.org/software/guix/ guix sd]] subpage layout to the list? there's a huge difference. I personally don't care about style, but first impression sells.
Feel free to edit with your name attached, later I will move sections to subpages.
