======pfSense DNS Configuration======

1) Login to your pfSense interface. (Generally located at 192.168.1.1 or 10.0.0.1)
1) Navigate to System > General Setup
1) Select 2-4 IP addresses from [[https://servers.opennicproject.org/|this list]], or use of the following:
{{closestt2servers number="4" nosrc="1"}}
1) Add your chosen DNS IP addresses to DNS Server Settings in General Setup:
{{image url="https://i.imgur.com/aNSJyh1.png" title="Up to four can be entered, but only two will be realistically needed in most cases" alt="DNS Server 1, 2, 3, 4..."}}

That’s it! All clients on your network that receive their network settings from pfSense’s DHCP server will now be configured to use the free and democratic OpenNIC network!
