======Germanium project Home======

Tim wrote an awesome PHP based registry system called [[http://sharesource.org/project/galium/ | Galium]]. Galium has been very useful but has never supported [[http://fred.nic.cz/ | FRED]]. As of such, it was modified to support FRED as a registry backend with a variety of frontend DNS authoritative servers(called galiumfred). The code is however rough, as the person who wrote it was a PHP noob (JulianDemarchi). It has also had the DB modified heavily so the code supports ""MyDNS"" "out of the box".

This project is to improve on the current code to be more stable. The new project name is Germanium.
