Current Activities
- The Architecture working group has implemented a Subversion Repository for the maintenance and distribution of operational files used by all the Working Groups.
- The HostmasteringWG Hostmastering working group regularly reports OpenNIC's current DNS operational status to this wiki, and provides monitoring requirements, tools, and assistance to ....
- The AuditingWG Auditing working group has deployed Nagios servers testing all OpenNIC servers.
- The WebmasteringWG Webmastering working group has launched the new Wiki (you're looking at it) and Project Website and a Public Intro site at opennicproject.org
- implemented new Email Listserver
Task List
- Fix single-point-of-failure (ns0) issues done!
- get some proxy servers going, or develop firefox tool
- continue to develop the repository and backup hosts
- review/rewrite the Working Groups done
- develop Charter abandoned
- develop Membership policies reviewed in email list; no changes made. "Membership" for voting purposes consists of those subscribers to the Discussion emsil list who submit a vote to the list within a week of the vote being "called" subsequent to a seconded motion. and a week of discussion.
