Crinolyn video: The maker, as the Disney princess Giselle from Enchanted- "This gown was made by Mum & me and took about four months from start to finish, not including the three weeks of research and photo DVD studies, over & over!! It consists of a large hoop, a net petticoat, the skirt with sandwiched organza ruffles, and then the main White Duchess satin dress. It took two weeks to decorate the main design onto the white dress, which I did using white puff paint and glitter. I then spent just over a week hand-sewing on individual sequins, flowers trims and string beads/crystals. All kinds of embellishments and anything that sparkles." |
