Pond Obituaries

Pammie, friend to many, dear friend of hers, and avid supporter of The Pond,
passed away September 10, 2007, of liver cancer - she was 59.

While we are not free to be specific, suffice it to say that Pammie was quite a talented and accomplished individual in 'drab
(real) life,' and those who had the privilege of knowing her will miss her dearly. It hurts to know she will no longer be around.

All one can say is, "Rest in Peace, Sweetie. You followed your dreams."

Addendum: Pammie was also known as Miss Susan MacDonald, proprietor and editor of Petticoat Discipline Monthly.

A REMEMBRANCE FROM ERIN ~~

We met for the first time, at Camp LG II, on a chilly November afternoon for lunch. From the start, I knew Pammie was a special person.
She impacted my life profoundly from that time on with her keen, brilliant mind and embracing attitude.

It was my impression of her that she was the true living personification of what the Golden Rule is all about. Never a cross word from her
lips, or a rude inconsiderate response, with her arms reaching out to everyone in her who knew her.

One of Pammie's loves was trains. We had a long conversation about the Lehigh Valley railroad's famous "Black Diamond" . Pammie was
amazed that I had traveled on this line as a young child and she always wanted to leave Camp to sojourn to the base of operations in Mauch
Chunk, Pennsylvania. Pammie frequently dropped me a line via the Net to see how I was recovering from my long illness, never once mentioning
her own pain and discomfort. I am glad to have known her and will miss her laughing grin. Pammie, honey, may you rest in eternal peace -
you earned your place in Heaven.

PondGirl Allison, a mainstay of The Pond, passed away in December of 2017.
Many of us were great admirers of her, marveling at her Fifties portraits.

She will be sorely missed. God Bless Her.
